Quality Improvement

How We Keep Improving Quality.

Quality improvement is an ongoing process that happens gradually over time. We support you with training and coaching to help improve your program in ways that nurture the healthy development of children in your care. We’ll be by your side during this learning process and help make adjustments along the way.

To measure progress in quality improvement, each program participating in Quality First is assessed and given a Quality First Star Rating, ranging from 1 to 5 stars. Each participant’s journey toward improving quality starts at one of our three levels of support. These three levels help match programs to their individualized support system needed to achieve the highest quality of care.
